Sun Valley Motor Lodge

My wife & I were riding around the Northland on the Bike. Needed somewhere too stay before finishing up our NZ trip in Auckland the next day. Randomly selected Sun Valley Lodge. What a gem, since they were quiet the owner upgraded us to a better room at no extra cost. Restaurants & town is an easy 200m walk away. Room clean tidy & functional. Worth the stop.

Very spacious with 2 bedrooms, all the modern amenities and a really great heater for a cold winters night. Extremely comfortable beds.... at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend

I’ve stayed here with my family a couple of times over the years and always found it to be clean and tidy. The service is awesome and the beds nice and comfy. Makes a great base so you can enjoy the sites in the area

Staff were really friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, and very quiet considering the place was full! Cute cat too! Highly recommended

Very affordable accommodation. Really nice stay here. Customer service was on point and the wifi was strong. Big comfortable beds. Great stuff
