A quaint place to stop in and have a few quiet drinks and some food. It is set in an old stone building that used to be the Post Office.

You'll notice that most of the positive reviews are for things such as scones, etc. If you want decent food then this is not the place for you. I heard that they have new owners so the good reviews may be from the past owners. My lamb was overcooked and rubbery and the Prime Rib was fatty. This is far from a gourmet restaurant. We had to wait 45 minutes to order and when I asked if we could order I was told by the rude waitress (Brown hair in a pony tail) that they had overbooked and that I just had to wait. They took our booking 2 hours before we arrived, they never should have taken our reservation. Bad service, bad food and depressing evening.

Great food and coffee good, this cafe is well worth a visit. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we love that. Date scone crammed with dates. Yum. Tge inside quite big but lots of spaces within spaces, lovely outside I look forward to a summer visit.

Slip into your chair after you've chosen from the cabinet or varied menu and take in some of the nostalgic history that is associated with this Cafe. Great friendly staff, excellent food and a nice quiet atmosphere.
