Novus Auto Glass

Avoid. Dropped car off in the morning for a windscreen replacement and returned in the afternoon to find the car had been crashed into the high curbing around their car park. The impact had significantly scratched the front left side of the front bumper and the impact was enough to pop the panel fixings out on the left front fender.
The manager spoke to his colleagues all who said they didn't do it. He said they weren't willing to take responsibility but took me around to a friend who has a respray business locally. The paint spray guy said just a a light blend spray would do the trick for approx $200. This was not a blend job. We went to our insurance who contacted novus who again denied any responsibility. We were going to have to pay the access until our insurer got suspicious of novus who kept pushing to use his friend. The insurer asked for an assessment at one of their places who said the whole bumper needed to be removed, sanded back properly and resprayed. Couldn't believe the 'friends' suggestion of a blend. Our insurer then covered the excess etc. The manager of novus was ok to deal with except he just couldn't fathom that one of his team could have done the damage. Very poor considering novus is associated with our insurer.
