      I took my kids in today to have a photo taken with santa. The photographer was very patient and santa was great when my kids screamed. He chatted to my eldest son while i calmed the baby. The end photo is wonderful

      We travelled by coach in both directions between Christchurch and Dunedin, and each time we had a refreshment stop here. You can't do much in half an hour maximum, so I can't comment on the overall performance of the cafe, but the steak and cheese pie was nice and the custard squares (see illustration) particularly delicious!

      Decent place to stop in for a break kids loved the milkshakes and the paninis are pretty good
      Staff were friendly there is a wee kids play area as well
