It pays to check that you are being charged the price advertised on the shelf. Today, I bought eggs and the advertised price did not ring through - a higher price rang through. I put my loyalty card through, as I thought it might be that. Then I spoke to the assistant who told me I had size 7 eggs and the price was for size 6 (she had just completely made this up). Another assistant went and checked and indeed I had been overcharged. Luckily, it was not too busy, otherwise I would have felt awkward whilst holding people up.

Located in the Highpoint shopping mall in Birkenhead, this store is smaller than most other Countdowns but stock most of your usual items. Good amount of parking beneath the store
