Carlton Gore Cafe

The food was pretty nice. I had the "Bubble Waffle' which was interesting with candy floss and various fruits, ice cream and brownie. The waffle itself was a little dry but the theatre of the dish made up for it.
It wasn't busy at all even though it was Saturday brunch time, however have driven past and see it more full.
The service was good.
Have recommended others to go there for the waffle for a bit of fun.

We come here for breakfast regularly. We love their potato galette and have been advised its GF. Staff are friendly and helpful. Good coffee too!

Love this cafe! The food is spot on, the staff are very very friendly, they have wifi so I could sit for a little bit and work, and a huge selection. Also it’s not too busy either

It was a little late in the afternoon to grab lunch as their kitchen had closed, but as a takeaway snack I tried their ginger slice. It was a very generous portion and it tasted divine with crystallised ginger within the topping. The perfect accompaniment to an espresso on the go!

After walking for about an hour from Albert St, we decided to stop for breakfast/lunch at Carlton Gore cafe. My wife had the french toast which was excellent with a huge amount of fruit on the side, and excellent brioche toast. I had the chilli eggs, with bacon chopped through, which was ok but not as great as I thought it would be. Was very nice sitting outside in the enclosed patio.
