Colenso Licensed Cafe & Shop

As a heritage buff, I love this place with it's neat old shop and wooden shelves. Like going back in time. Compulsory stop if ever on this road!

Friendly staff and good food. The gift shop is small but great.

Food is always a treat here and we often take something away for home. Gift shop has halved in size since we were last here three years ago, which is disappointing. Garden area is nice to sit in if it is not too windy.

What a fabulous place. the shop is amazing so much to look at. the coffee was nice and hot. I had the most amazing muffin. It had just come out of the oven and it was so nice and tasty with butter. service was a little slow considering I was the only one there early in the morning. But a defo fav.
