Whangarei Community Toy Library

This is a great initiative to get the most out of toys and make a lot of kids happy

The Whangarei Toy Library is a fabulous way to allow your children to have a choice of dozens and dozens of toys, through the year, without it costing very much at all. The joining fee can be paid quarterly or annually and they have different rates for different circumstances. It's a nice way to get to know other mothers too, because the Toy Library provides free homemade baking and refreshments, on the days it is open. The librarian and volunteers are really nice and the toys are kept really clean.
