Welcome to Schnappa Rock Restaurant and Bar, where we serve delicious local cuisine 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We are passionate about providing both great food, and a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. Whenever possible produce is supplied straight from the garden and our menu includes many New Zealand specialities including NZ green shell mussels, NZ free-range chicken and NZ freedom farmed pork. We offer a children's menu for our younger patrons, which includes nachos and chicken tenderloins as well as a scrumptious ice-cream sundae for dessert! Our catering service is available for all special events, including weddings, corporate functions and birthdays. We even provide on-board yacht catering! We can cater at a venue of your choice, and are happy to assist with locating the perfect venue for your function. Loved sitting outdoors by the seafront, and enjoyed my meal, the prawns were cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.

Lovely indoor and outdoor setting. Lots of casual atmosphere and ambiance. Tropical island feel. Great service. Clam pasta dish is unbeatable. Steak was average. Great menu. Love this place.

We went here because the terrace looked nice and had a great view. The steak I got was cooked medium rare as I ordered and it tasted very good. The service was also nice and it was not too expensive.

The atmosphere is amazing here, laid back most efficient and the staff are helpful. I had the fresh fish of the day, it was phenomenal. Well presented and fantastically seasoned.
