Great store. Good selection of fishing and camping gear. I also like their selection of clothing.

I wanted to buy a beach casting fishing rod and reel combo. I had virtually no knowledge of what were the suitable options for me. The lady at McCoy & Thomas Hunting & Fishing NZ was very helpful and knowledgable. She pointed out a couple of options at the medium quality/medium-lower price range which is what I had asked for. She offered advice on the size of rod that a beginner like me would be best off with. Overall very good experience.

Although the business name suggests they specialise in hunting and fishing gear, they also sell other sports equipment. I actually hired an exercise bike from them, for a very reasonable, monthly rate. The staff are very helpful. Highly recommended.

Needed a spotlight battery and no one else had them for a better price. Also picked up a charger and they gave me a discount. Awesome selection of hunting accessories. Helpful staff. My go to hunting equipment store.
