      I love the Kensington Tavern, My family & I always enjoy a good meal here, the steak, chips & salad or the Cajun Chicken Salad is our alltime favourite. They also have colouring in stuff for the kids. Definately a nice pub to eat at :)

      If you want the full pub experience - in a safe environment - the KT, as it is affectionately known, in Whangarei, is the place for you. There's a sports bar, working man's drinking area, dining tables too, plus pokies in a separate room. I have been there many times for a drink and meal, but more recently, I went with a group of 10 people. We all received our meals at the same time and had a great time, in a pub with a great atmosphere. The meals are delicious and the chef knows how to cook a steak to perfection!
