It's possible that Manna Sushi has been renamed recently. It says on the window that its been there for 14 years but I have the impression that what was "Manna" is now "Umi" and therefore may be part of a chain of Umis in Johnsonville, wainuiomata, and possibly auckland. Umi means sea or ocean so I guess that fits the general tenor of the place.

Love that these guys will make their sushi fresh if you ask! Really friendly staff and excellent service!

Best sushi in town by far. They sell out quick so you need to get in early. Their California rolls are supurb. What a lovely little place for little old Wanganui. 4.5/5

Went here for lunch great the sushi beautifully made and tasty and at a good price friendly service wall recommended will be going back.
