The Bakehouse

This bakehouse has really stepped up their game recently. There are so many options of meals, baked goods and drinks to choose from.. all at good prices too.
The big boy sausage rolls are really popular as is the pork and watercress pie.

The bubble tea is flavoursome although not real bubble tea

lots of selection for everyone. opening hours and early so great if you work early hours or need to grab something before work. well priced

Nice coffees, and a good choice of hot, freshly baked items, sandwiches,, fried foods and sweet slices.

Huge selection of cheap food. The coffee is surprisingly good! The owner's are cute and friendly. Whakatanes original Bakehouse. The garlic chicken is delicious!!

We went here for lunch today, and they have an excellent range of pies, sandwiches, treats, and made to order meals. The seafood roll I had was delicious, and I would definitely recommend the pancake roll they have amongst the treats. Clean toilet facilities available as well. Awesome place to stop for lunch in Whakatane.
