Wellington Underground Market

Good little market to have a wander in. Lots of interesting things to buy - really great place to pick up gifts in particular. Nice thing to do on a rain day especially!

I wasn't expecting to find such a great market when visiting Wellington. There was a wide range of cuisine being sold from dumplings, Thai food, hot chips, smoothies etc... I managed to pick up a stunning scarf for a great price.

So many unique items for sale. same with the food, heaps of variety. access is easy, just a five or so minute walk from the city. great that its underground as it was raining on the day that we went. Everyone that was there seemed to be enjoying themselves, which gave the place a good atmosphere.

Delightful underground market. Heaps of parking when its not on. Wonderful, enchanting artisnal craftsmanship on display here. Real top top stuff will make sure to come again.

Great market, plenty of food options catering for all and some very good item stalls. We were only passing through but will need to come back!
