      Always worth a visit. Lots to see even if you're not keen to stump up for the paid exhibitions. Lots of staff around to help. I had been travelling so great to have a place to leave your bag for free so I didn't have to carry it around. A great asset to NZ that everyone should check out.

      What a fantastic place to learn about NZ history and culture. Explore by yourself or a guide your. Several floors ( Lift and stairs)each with different displays. Cafe,family area and gift shop. High recommend taking a good afternoon to look around. Best of all its free.....donations are appreciated.

      Our family loves going here. The cafe of the first floor is family friendly. The kids choose 5 selection is great. The outdoor area is so pretty with the waterfall and swing bridge. The exhibits inside are well thought out and very interesting. The giant squid is very cool. I miss the old school kids play area upstairs with the grocery "shop".
