Best takeaways - the chinese was great, went at lunch time and there was plenty there to choose from despite the steady flow of customers. Counter staff was really friendly too.

This restaurant was hidden away below the Novotel and we discovered it by accident as we were going to the waterfront. They serve a great breakfast and their coffee is great. Much cheaper and fresher than the hotel.

I've lunched at Relish many times but never got round to doing a review before. Just an awesome place to go for lunch. Lots of space, incredibly fast service despite being perennially busy and really good food - although I almost always have the Laksa so I only have my companions' word to go on for the other stuff.

The sandwich board outside on one of the main shopping streets brought me in, although I had passed it many times before and had used the escalator frequently too. I ordered bacon and fried eggs on ciabatta, which came with a bit of tomato and a sliced up mushroom both more as decoration than substance. The serving of bacon was generous and mostly crisped. The egg yolks were still a bit runny - as they should be, and overall at $14, I thought this was very good value. Tasty and well cooked.

Lovely little hidden gem on lambton quay, was hungry for a little snack and very happy to have found this place. I just got the soonish and cheese muffin. Which was lovely! They seem to have a little bit of everything from bakery foods to breakfast ordered foods, Indian foods like curries. The staff are really friendly and the food is decently price too
