Pravda Cafe

The fillet steak here is the best steak I've ever had. The truffle fries and mash are unbelievable too.
I treat myself to a pravda every now and again and I am never disappointed. Very good presentation of food. Well trained friendly staff.

I went for dinner here on Tuesday night with my husband for our anniversary and was very impressed with the revamped menu. We started with Fresh Oysters and bubbles, followed by an incredible Steak tartare and seared kingfish with a very nice NZ Chardonnay recommended by our very friendly and knowledgeable server. We had buttermilk chipotle chicken and wagyu eye fillet steak served with a Parmesan mash on the sides - very generous with all dishes. I would highly recommend this place and will be definitely revising to try other meals off the menu.

In my opinion, the best cafe in Wellington. Their coffee is made to perfection and their breakfast range is not only appealing, but it has been one of the best breakfast meals I have ever had. As a restaurant itself, they have lots of options that you cannot find in any other restaurant in Wellington.

This has been relaunched as a Grill too offering amazing cuts of Steak along with a very good a la carte menu - The Eye Fillet Wagyu is amazing and was treated to one of the best steak tartare's in town, highly recommended!

Pricey. But worth it, food is great!
