Portlander Restaurant

Went here for my birthday and it was amazing. Steak I had was amazing as well as the deserts, which they took off after I told them why I was there that night.

Only downside, book ahead if you plan to go on the weekend.

Looking for a quality steak meal, we tried Portlander based on recommendations. We weren't disappointed. Service was efficient, friendly and prompt. An extensive wine list with options for different pour sizes when drinking by the glass. We both had aged sirloin, cooked to the requested style (medium rare), and 2 sides. We were too full for dessert, and left very satisfied.

We stayed at the Rydges and our experience was amazing at the hotel. However this restaurant was beautifully decorated and the service from the staff were outstanding, we did not enjoy the food. The food was overpriced and the portions and quality was not great at all. I ordered a steak and it was so small and their was hardly any flavours to it. The wine selection was great though. Service from staff was very nice and they were very fast with their service. Clean and spacious restaurant.

really nice place quite modern looking i took my kids here for there birthday and the staff were super nice i loved the experience they all sang to him and it was great i will be coming back here for sure

a must for steak lovers. lots of different options for red meat. worth trying the scallops and pork belly too.
