Portlander Restaurant

Food and service is first class as you would expect, but I think dinner for two is the best way to visit this restaurant. Seafood platter for two, pre-dinner cocktails, bubbles all night. Perfect.

The pork belly was tender and amazing and the dessert! Deer milk and rose water pannacotta! Oh wow! Combination was delishes! To top it off we had an amazing server named Shannon that made sure we were well looked after! Thanks for making it an awesome dining experience Shannon.

We stayed at the Rydges and our experience was amazing at the hotel. However this restaurant was beautifully decorated and the service from the staff were outstanding, we did not enjoy the food. The food was overpriced and the portions and quality was not great at all. I ordered a steak and it was so small and their was hardly any flavours to it. The wine selection was great though. Service from staff was very nice and they were very fast with their service. Clean and spacious restaurant.

Best steakhouse in Wellington. So many different cuts to choose from, and different sides to add. Great wine list too.
