Nikau Gallery Cafe

We sat outside as it was a nice day...it's a good spot! The food from the menu and the coffee were great, excellent service too...but the cabinet was a little light on sweet things...probably just as well!

The hot chocolates were amazing and the people were super friendly. Nice ambiance too and a really handy setting in the heart of wellington.

Cute little cafe with lots of unexpected fun stuffs in store. Staff members are very polite and friendly. Worth a visit if you are looking for cafe with wide range of tea or something new in your life. Solid 5 star cafe.

Lovely location around the back of the civic centre and art gallery. I've found it difficult to get to here as much as I would like as it isn't close to my work. But the location and ambience are brilliant. The whole area around the civic centre is very nice which adds to the feel and that indoor outdoor flow makes it brilliant for a day with good weather. Coffee is okay and they do some great breakfast.

Love the outdoor area - sheltered and relaxing with comfortable seating. Whole atmosphere is great whether indoor or out. Food was superb, especially enjoyed the cheese scone and chocolate (to die for) muffin. My coffee was perfect - hot and strong. Couldn’t have asked for better staff - all friendly and very prompt service despite being so full. We are definitely returning next time we are visiting Wellington. Thank you for most enjoyable experience.
