Martha's Pantry

We booked in advance as there were seven of us celebrating a birthday. Quite a small place so worth booking. Lovely quirky coffee shop. Great selection of tea and other drinks for high tea. The food was really delicious and there was plenty of it. Lovely friendly service and plenty of time to enjoy the food without being rushed. There is a small carpark on site or street parking nearby. Thanks Martha’s Pantry for making it a really special day!

Lovely old fashion and cozy decor, good to have a cup of white tea and a piece of choc cake to spend the afternoon.

Really nice place for a hangover breakfast. The place is quite intimate so it can be busy easily, but the breakfasts are generally well worth it.

Martha's pantry until recently was my favourite cafe within Wellington. I was really upset when they recently changed the look of Martha's so it is no longer the beautiful pastel utopia it once was. However I was pleasantly surprised when I went there for high tea after the refurbishment. It is missing some of it's old charm aesthetically, but it has kept many of the key elements of the original Martha's alive.

The high tea my girlfriend and I received was just as delicious and beautiful, and the new staff were even more incredible and friendly than the previous employees. I am still a little upset about some of the changes but I understand that it is tough to run a cafe in wellington where there is so much competition. I highly recommend Martha's pantry if you are looking for delicious sweet treats, lovely staff, traditional british style high teas and a cafe that looks beautifully feminine.

Beautiful place to go for an afternoon high tea.The pastries and rose tea are so good and the shop is filled with lots of lovely things to buy.Great place to catch up with friends.
