Maranui Cafe

the food might be nice, but the last 3 times ive been theyve told me a wait time of 40 minutes for food, and its not even lunch time it was around 3pm, seriously need better ktichen skills or a bigger kitchen, i dont see how it can take that long.

I've had amazing food and service here before, I love the beautiful view of the cafe. However, I recently experienced terrible customer service here. My partner and I waited for an extended period of time at the "please wait here to be seated" sign - in front of several staff who were not serving other customers, and it wasn't one of the crazy busy times that Maranui are famous for - there were free tables and no line. They ignored us the entire time, not even telling us they'd be with us soon or anything. Then when we were finally seated there were again massive delays and we were not given water or a menu or an apology for the delays. We ended up leaving.
Had I not had previously good experiences here I would give 1 star.

Such a beautiful location which overlooks the beach. Great food and coffee, definitely worth the visit but be warned this place is not a secret and is often very busy with a wait so be prepared.

Very popular cafe with the emergency services. Enjoyable cafe with prime sea views, good coffee and food options. Highly recommend a visit
