Went with a friend as she really likes it. I wasn't impressed as the meat yasted weird. I might try again with something else as so many people like it but I'm not sure because for me the salad was just ok.

Kapai is a good option for a healthy lunch with several locations in Wellington cbd. Great choice of vegetarian options. A bit more expensive then competitors though. Gets really busy at lunchtime but service is usually quite fast.

Went on a Friday afternoon, about 1:30pm. The place was starting to clear out but service here was still very slow though there were many servers around. The server I had was not very communicative - I ordered a juice and couldn't tell if anyone was actually preparing it. They were also out of several things I wanted. The food was okay - the tumeke I ordered was stuffed to the point of bursting, but that made it very difficult and messy to eat. Would not return - plenty of better options nearby.

I love the concept of a salad bar. Finally a place in NZ that refers to salad as more than a bunch of lettuce and some carrot slices! Descent sizes for a variety of salads. My personal favorite is the greek salad.
