Big restaurant and good for big group occasions, the food is yum, some dishes are better than others, so try a curry or noodle dish. BYO which is also good for groups.

Food was average, I ordered the butter chicken and also a lamb dish. This was a very unusual butter chicken, butter chicken is pretty generic I have even cooked it at home with much better results , this however was not the butter chicken I've come to know and love. Naan was very flowery and service was slow. Basmati rice was not very fragrant at all I'm pretty sure it was just normal rice. The meat was cooked well nice and tender and a good spice ratio.

We had dinner at Istana Malaysia as part of a group tour from Malaysia. The menu is mostly on Indian food and portions quite large. We ordered a bit of everything to share with. The mee goreng was very nice but the lamb soup too spicy, roti too tough and satay unimpressive. However service was great and it is still lovely to have Malaysian food if you crave it.
