Foxglove Bar & Kitchen

Great location on the waterfront and a nice place for drinks and dinner. One of the better restaurants in that location, as I was slightly disappointed with two others that are right nearby. Good alcohol selection and good service. Would return.

We made a booking for 8 people in my family and unfortunately didn’t realise that because my granddaughter is 16 we couldn’t dine here. They refused us entry because she’s underage and apparently they are a “bar”. Maybe it was our fault but maybe they should ask when taking bookings.

Nice meal and served quickly. We went with the entertainment book card and thought that with the discount the meal was a fair price. A little disappointed that they took a while to seat us and addressed customers who hadn't been there as long as us but the service was good after that hiccup. We were there for dining on a busy Friday night but the noise didn't translate to the dining area and we could hold a good conversation. Nice view by the window out onto the waterfront. I've been here often for drinks which you go in with different expectations. Nice to have a drink in the sun on a weekend afternoon on the upper balcony, quiet drinks on a Wednesday with nice cocktail deals.

Great for friday night drinks. They have live jazz music upstairs through the wardrobe! Bartenders are generally nice and helpful. Sometimes hard to get a table, but worth it when you do get one.

The place for every ocassion. Nice dinner date, a catch up with friends or just drinks after work. They have combined different spaces for every need. Good variety of wines and beers, also the menu is regularly updated and that's why I can't eat the yummy Tiramisu they used to make.
