      It is often very busy as others have written, but that is simply because it is THE best cafe in Wellington.

      Delicious food that is reasonably priced, caters well to a variety of dietary requirements. One of the best cafés in Wellington, but always very busy during peak times. Amazing snickers shakes!!

      I first fell in love with Fidels in 2001 when I went there for the first time and had the mushrooms and spinach on toast. No trip to Wellington is complete without a visit. I wish I could review something else on the menu, but I can NEVER go past the mushrooms. Coffee is Wellington-good and as for a few comments about wait times, who cares? The food is TOTALLY worth it. Apparently the date scones are heavenly.
