Dragonfly Restaurant

This restaurant has some of the best Asian food i have ever had. It was super delicious made with such high-quality ingredients. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The premise was clean tidy, and i highly recommend.

We were three of us, and we asked to share the whole meal; we had: pork and chives dumplings, coconut squid, edamame beans (not shelled), salmon 2 ways, and wakanui beef short ribs. Service was reasonably quick, friendly, and the food was superb. For drinks, we had a bottle of Jules Taylor Marlborough Sauvignon blanc, and Jules Taylor Gisborne rose, both were superb. Being full, we did not try deserts, but finished with short black topped with some liquor. Very enjoyable evening.

One of my favs when I visit Welly, great location, food is fusion Japenese/Asian styles, lots to chose from, very decent sizes I normally order 3-4 starters a few yummy cocktails and thats me sorted, very friendly staff, def recommend to all
