City Gallery Wellington

Quite an unusual exhibition on when we visited. Appreciated the quality of the artworks but the themes were just not my cup of tea. The art was well presented however.

I spent an hour here. What I loved most was the facade and architecture of the gallery. Most of the exhibits were contemporary arts. A convenient place to get to, especially when it was at Civic Square. Admission was free during my visit.

Love the muesium but I find the hand on top of the building that looks like Trump creepy.

A stunning gallery showcasing New Zealand's best!

With metered parking nearby and a lovely cafe and gift shop this is a great place to visit and pass some time.

The exhibitions can be varied and hit and miss but they have some amazing paintings and displays and we loved their This Is New Zealand exhibition

This gallery can get busy and some exhibitions charge to see them but well worth it to see some brilliant art and works
