Chow

Highly rate Chow! A great place to have dinner out with a group of friends on a Monday night (2for1 on Mondays - YAY). Super important to book as its always very busy. Its a tapas style restaurant so usually one would get 2-3 plates per person and just share everything. I usually go with a group of 4 or 5 as it means you each get to try one of everything. I've always come away from dining at Chow feeling really satisfied with my experience. Lots of lovely unique flavours on offer and a wide variety of cocktails to enhance the experience (2for1 cocktails every Wednesday and Saturday) As you can tell Chow has a serious wow factor on the food sides of things but just so i don't lead you into thinking that is the only great aspect, their service and ambiance is great too.

-0.5 stars because I don't find their desserts to be very inspiring. I am a huge dessert fan and have a sweet tooth so i feel as though this somewhat lets chow down to a degree but who knows maybe that will change in time.

I prefer to takeaway due to the sheer popularity of this place (especially on 2-for-1 night) but dining in is also a great experience. The food is a little on the pricey side for the portion you receive but the quality is there. My favourite dishes are the Jungle curry and Chicken curry. The blue cheese wontons are also a nice touch. I find the best way to dine here is to order a whole heap of dishes and share with the table 'tapas style'.

We had a dinner at Chow the other night. Previously I'd become bored with their menu but they have switched things up and now have a wider range of food I can eat. Delicious food and we will be back. The tofu skewers and the tempura cauliflower dishes are firm favourites.

Asian fusion at its best! Very popular modern cuisine restaurant in Welly that’s hard not to miss. There are many specials during the week, from 241 food to free delivery on specific days. The menu is great catering to vegan and gluten free option. Staff are friendly which makes the experience so great

Food is amazing. Serving sizes are on the small side but they do two for one deals and set menus which makes it pretty affordable. Really nice to get several dishes and share. Venue can feel quite crowded when it's busy and it can get pretty loud. Staff are great when it comes to special diets and allergies.
