DO NOT TAKE YOUR BIKE TO BOYLE KAWASAKI!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My story is this, I had an accident on my bike near the end of october due to some idiot in a car pulling out in front of me, gutted. So I rang Boyles and asked them to undertake the assessment and repair process as they were convenient to both my home and work. They picked the bike up, as I was injured and unable to ride, and assured me that everything would be sweet. Utter Bollocks. What followed was 2+ months of lies. The insurance company sent the assessor down the week following pick up. so I was surprised to learn that, after the bike being there for a month, that no parts had been priced and no quote was presented to the insurance people, Despite calling them several times and receiving the same line that "they are waiting for prices to come back from the supplier". I was reasonably peeved at this but I understand that sometimes some people are busy....... I had to have repeated conversations with both boyles and the insurance company to get the job priced and presented so the claim could be accepted. Once it was accepted, I had to wait for a part to come from Japan, fair enough but I can parts out of Japan in 7 working days as opposed to 3 weeks so again I was annoyed about this but at least things were starting to happen. I followed up on the 17 of December and was told my bike would be ready the following day, Finally. I turned up, paid my excess and inspected the bike. It was not complete. A side cover that was munted in the crash was not replaced, this part was included in the quote and boyles were paid to supply it. When I asked as to why it wasn't on the bike they said the part was no longer available and they cant pull one out of thin air. They had not bothered to contact myself or my insurance company about this, when I asked if they had bothered to look aftermarket or 2nd hand I was told that they don't have time to muck around like that. I did not accept this as satisfactory and refused delivery of the bike. Im pretty angry about all this at this point, rightly so most would say. Being near to Christmas nothing further happened until the new year when the assessor goes back there to sort things out, I heard, via the assessor that boyles are saying that there wasn't a cover there in the 1st place, rude!!! I could prove that there was and that I would be happy with a aftermarket/2nd hand item but I was not happy about being called a liar. The day after the assessor going back to them they miraculously find a cover off another bike that will fit, this is less than ideal as it retained the badges from the other bike as well, but at least I've got a cover and the bike can be picked up. I received no communication from boyles that the bike was ready so I called them to confirm this. I go there and pick it up and, lets be fair I'm irate at this point. I asked why I hadn't been called, I was told that the Insurance company was the customer, not me!! Seriously?!?! I then asked some more questions about why it took so long etc, this quickly developed into a heated argument where I was physically threatened and told to "F off and not come back". Completely unacceptable by anyone's standard. However, on the ride home the throttle sticks open, which is extremely dangerous!! I had a look and found the adjustment on the throttle cable was left loose, the bars were replaced so they would have had that apart, also the headlight was replaced, i checked the operation of that as well and found that the park light was not working, which is a WOF fail. So in summary, after 2+ months of lies, false accusations and abuse, I received an unwarrantable bike that just about killed me on the way home. These guys are slow, rough, deceitful, arrogant and horrible to deal with. It is without doubt the worst experience I have ever had in any service industry anywhere. If you read this and still choose to take your bike there, I pity you.

These guys know their bikes and when they do a job they do it well. I've been a customer for a few years getting repairs and maintenance when required and they've always managed to get my scooter safe and roadworthy. If ever I've had any drama's or questions, they've always taken the time to help me out - which I really appreciate. Thanks for all of your hard work and help guys!

I just got back from Boyle Kawasaki a few minutes ago after visiting it for the first time. I'm learning to ride a motorbike and have just passed my basic handling skills course and I wanted to chat to someone that was knowledgable about what I should look for in my first bike purchase. A Google search showed me that Boyle Kawasaki in Newtown has some very good reviews about their service. As they are a local business and literally down the road from me I thought that it would be the perfect place to introduce myself and seek some wise advice. However after wandering around in their store for over ten minutes while the older gentleman behind the counter just stood there chatting to his mate who was in front of the counter, I decided to leave. I could perhaps understand not being acknowledged if the store was busy, but at 3.40pm on a Friday afternoon there was just myself in the store and the staff member and his mate. I did not even receive a hello after making brief eye contact with the staff member. It takes approximately one second to greet someone with a smile. I was more than happy to wait while the staff member chatted away to his mate, however I did not appreciate not being acknowledged with even a simple "hello" after standing around in the store for ten minutes. I absolutely despise poor service and I will not set foot in Boyle Kawasaki again.
