Some staff were very helpful & kind while others were lazy & a bit rude. Very first night there someone took all our food despite it being in a clearly labeled bag. Then other guests came into our room & not only did they have prohibited alcohol, but they also went through our private things. Our key cards very rarely worked & the toilets always smelled of vomit on a Friday or Saturday night. I actually managed to walk in on a very drunk couple doing rude things on a bathroom floor. Not impressed.
Despite being a backpackers, it's still $30 a night. Might wiser idea to stay at the YHA just down the road.

Pretty awesome, relaxed place. Friendly staff and a pretty great base camp to be going out and exploring. Clean and tidy and decent prices.

The base is an amazing place to stay when I was doing the Trail I had an amazing stay here and meet some awesome friends

Great location stayed for 1 night.
clean rooms, and linen. Access to game room and also centrally located was easy to restaurants transportation
