Athena Fish & Chip Shop (1996)

Love this fish and chips store. It is super cheap. They have a huge variety of foods on their menu. I love their cheeseburgers. And their chips are always nice and warm.

Good suburban fish & chip shop with friendly staff, a large menu of 'non-fish' items at affordable prices. They are generous with their portions (VERY large scoop of chips and always an extra potato fritter!), plus of parking around the corner and on Onepu Road too.

I'm a fish and chips snob because I grew up in Hawkes Bay which has objectively the best fish and chips in the country - but this is the only fish and chip store in Wellington that can hold a candle to Hawkes Bay fish and chips. Chips are delicious, battered fish is perfect, the prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous.

Our local spot, always rally tasty take aways and great value.

Delicious fish & chips with plenty of salt (as they should have) and nice fresh fish which was not pre-cooked! Chips were a good size too, not too fat or too skinny.
