      dont like to give negative comments, but staff were bit rude, seemed uninterested in working and food took forever! they werent busy either, so not sure why it took so long, dont think ill be visiting again

      The Black Dog Cafe in Matakana is a great little cafe that's perfect for brunch, lunch or just a coffee while you read the newspaper. It gets pretty busy on market day but otherwise you should try to get a sunny spot outside. The menu is well appointed and good value for money. The service is swift and friendly.
