Awesome place to have early breakfast in Auckland..tried thr breakfast burrito, hummus sandwich and coffee..cozy lil cafe with yummy food :) loved it!

This is a really lovely cafe in Matakana, great coffee and a delicious brunch and lunch menu!!!! Absolutely worth a visit!

Delicious coffee! I usually end up having 2 when we visit! It’s very busy on a Saturday morning because of the market in matakana, so keep that in mind if you plan on visiting then.

The Black Dog Cafe in Matakana is a great little cafe that's perfect for brunch, lunch or just a coffee while you read the newspaper. It gets pretty busy on market day but otherwise you should try to get a sunny spot outside. The menu is well appointed and good value for money. The service is swift and friendly.
