Amazing estate with beautiful wines. Gorgeous food and platters with a nicely detailed menu. Highly recommended.

Beautiful venue! Just visiting this farm takes you to a special place. Lovely friendly staff. We have often popped by just for tastings and generally walk away with a bottle or two. Have dined in a few times and really enjoyed the platters on offer, bit more expensive than your average afternoon dine in for lunch but still very tasty and makes the visit more special

My husband and I went away one weekend to Matakana, and pulled over to try the food at Ascension. We were not disappointed, their platter had a bit of everything and was absolutely divine. We nearly had the whole courtyard to ourselves on a lovely sunny afternoon. I'm looking forward to going back again.

I love this place - the food is amazing, the service is really good and the surroundings are gorgeous. Definitely worth a day trip from Auckland.
