The Wakefield Bakery

I tend to stop by almost every time I'm driving through or in the area. This is a fantastic place to buy a really, really great coffee. I love their mochas. You might notice sometimes in busy hours that there's a line out the door - for good reason. They'll serve you as quick as they can so it's worth it though. Yummy selection of baked goods, all nice and fresh, well priced, and there's a nice selection of sandwiches and rolls with all sorts of yummy fillings. You can sit indoors or enjoy shaded seating outdoors too. A great place to get breakfast or lunch on a road trip!

Best pie I have ever had. My brother took me here on a visit to Nelson and insisted I tried a Pie and I'm so glad I did! Delicious!

Can not drive past, have to stop at least for a sausage roll. Coffee is a bit too hot but still nice ny wife asked for almond milk and they had that. Have not any complaint on any food everything so far is fantastic.

Can’t drive past here without stopping in. Best pies in the region although they are on the pricey side. Awesome selection of food here. Very popular spot - always busy!
