The Cornershop Bistro

We were looking for a warm winter meal for after the movies in Sumner. The menu offered lots of excellent choices from which we both chose the lamb and were very pleased we had. Lovely generous serving of tender lamb with a tasty range of beautifully cooked vegetables. Just the ticket! We followed this up with the creme brûlée which came with a topping that included pistachio which was a nice touch. Friendly and competent service and a pleasant setting completed our favourable experience,

Highly recommend The Cornershop Bistro. The food is absolutely delicious, well presented and good sized portions. The falafel was so delicious we had a second helping, Very friendly and efficient service, all adds up to a excellent place to dine.

Always beautiful food and a warm, cosy atmosphere. Recently went to the Japanese themed evening, which was well executed and offered something different. Like the early evening special menu, as offers something more affordable, otherwise this would generally be a treat for a special occasion for us.

Very quaint, cosy atmosphere. We didn't have a meal here (too pricey) but had dessert and coffees - and they were fantastic! Beautiful location in Sumner and friendly service.
