Terra Viva Cafe & Delicatessen

Nice cafe relatively close to the airport, choices can get a bit limited in the afternoon as it's a popular desination for morning tea and lunch the cabinets can get cleared out. Coffee is consistently good and staff friendly, prices are pretty high for food including cakes and slices.

Stopped off for brunch at this cafe prior to departing from Christchurch airport. The cafe is spacious, warm and comfortable. A very good range of menu options is available. Coffee lacked a full bodied flavour and was not piping hot as I prefer. The presentation of dishes was good and it looked like healthy free range eggs were utilised for the eggs benedict and eggs florentine ordered by some members of our group. This is a relaxing environment to dine with friends or family and perhaps even for business meetings. The associated homeware and plant business connecting with the cafe offers an opportunity to shop for gifts or for items to enhance the personal home.
