Be extremely careful and get everything in writing from this company should you decide to use their services.

After I made the decision NOT to use them, which was:

a) because I had never received a written quote from them despite asking for one in writing, and
b) because they told me that they would have to cut the fitted ventilation on my $80,000 stove to "make it fit", thus voiding the warranty, I was presented with a bill for $3200 which had been calculated at $70 / hour even though I was under the impression I was only going to have to pay a flat rate of $700.

Of course I disputed this invoice since there was NOTHING in writing about them charging me an hourly rate but incredibly I lost that particular battle in the Disputes Tribunal.

So I had to pay $3200 for a design that I could not use.

On the bright side, I would never have met my new super-professional, honest and value for money kitchen designer if I had gone ahead with Parklane Kitchens, so this particular cloud did end up having a silver lining!
