was a awesome experience, its a must do for anyone going near, walk takes approx 3 hrs

Super interesting place to visit, it is amazing to see the bubbly mud and volcanic activity and really cool to just be able to walk around at your own pace. Highly recommended to all.

Absolutely beautiful. A must for everyone on a trip to Rotorua

Not as busy as Wai o Tapu which is a bonus if you don't like being around lots of people crowding in the way of photos. They also have buses at the end that you can catch back to the reception which is handy. I would recommend doing the full track - the more advanced one suggested for people with high level of fitness isn't that bad at all. Pools are beautiful especially frying pan lake and the inferno crater

Stunning and awe inspiring experience. I couldnt believe the colours and utter beauty of the lake water. A bus does go through so if you get too tired to walk it will pick you up. Will take about 3 hours if you want to walk it. A unique and totally memorable experience.
