Te Awamutu Public Library

I was really amazed with this library as popped over whilst my kids were in a basketball tournament next store. I love the new building and it was a great place to chill out and relax with a book.

Great library. Big clean well organised. Great selection and a wonderful range of events. Great kids programs.

This place is fantastic. Such a modern and stylish building. What a great asset to Te Awamutu. Genuinely friendly and welcoming atmosphere. My kids absolutely love coming here every month so we are very regular library users. Really well designed and purposed space.

Hmmmmm... I'm not too impressed with the decor.
Now the old library was admittedly in a very outdated building and therefore looked outdated, but the new purpose-built library? Well, it's just plain boring. The outside decorations provide false hope for the inside. It's like the inside of the old library has just been transplanted - with the addition of a few coloured seats and some large pooh bears.
Cmon WDC, time to enter this century.
Oh, and as for the staff... a smile can make someone's day. I wish they'd try it now and then!

Ok library but have been to better, unfortunately did not find what I wanted & when I wanted some printing done it was more expensive then my own local library & they messed up what I asked for to be printed. Not impressed and will not be in a hurry to revisit this place anytime soon in the future.
