Great service and wonderful atmosphere at The General. The menu was very unique and had great combinations. We were very happy and satisfied coming across this place abd enjoyed the food greatly. The macadamia caramel was also really good and a highly recommended one to try. Menu had variety of dishes with a middle eastern twist from pulled pork, yoghurt with poached eggs, bacon and egg croissant etc.

Potato & leek rosti is delicious , came here with my daughter and her friend as they live here in the Mount ..
Yummy breakfast .. poached eggs were just right and my husband had the “ loaded “ which made him very happy

Fabulous service always full of friendly smiles the many times I’ve dined here and the Afghans are incredible!

Took my friend here for a birthday lunch and we were very impressed with the food offerings. The menu caters for everyone (Vegan, Gluten free, vegetarians, meat lovers). The staff were friendly, pleasant and efficient. Coffee was good and the prices not so bad. Will come again.

Great coffee and a good selection of food for a yummy lunch or brunch. Lovely menu and also lots of great cabinet food. I have been for coffee and also a yummy lunch with a glass of wine.
