Tay Street Beach Cafe

We found the menu was very limited and very breakfast/brunch centered. We ordered the fish tacos. Waited over 30 minutes for them to arrive - cold. A spoonful of not very nice coleslaw, a small piece of fish and no taste whatsoever. Ugh! We wouldn't recommend this cafe, nor will we return.

Lovely lunch, good service and value. Across the road from the beach to be able to walk off the excess after.

Treated so well, staff went out of their way to serve me a smaller portion, and it was delicious, as was the iced coffee, Bruce's fish and chips were real nice too, chips just right amount of crunch.

order coffee and it did not came on table ever and staff did not bother to meal check our table or ask for something extra, it was too late to ask for coffee anyway. waitress take it out from our bill which was good, we will come back for food as we really enjoyed it.

Amazing calamari ( seasoned with smoked paprika ) with Asian chilli slaw. We matched it with a glass of Wooing Tree Rose. Great summer lunch. Fully recommend
