Service was efficient and very fast no waiting around. Hospital cafe had a wide range of selection.

Love the handy parking below the building, but the emergency parks have been full the last 2 times I was there which was unfortunate. Triage in ER is great, Ive been treated immediately every time Ive been there in an emergency & I think the nurses do an AMAZING job. My only wish is that they'd feed the parents of babies who have to stay in all day/night... I couldnt leave my baby so was STARVING by the end of our stay this weekend. But all in all, thank you all for doing such a great job.

We recently had to spend the night in the children's ward. I cannot rave enough about the lovely lady that volunteers in the children's ward play room on a Wednesday. No wonder she has been doing it for so many years - 24 if I recall correctly!
She is so great with kids and has little chats to them and will even play alongsid them.

What a great lady to bring a smile to children's faces in an otherwise difficult time.

Have stayed here and had surgery twice - both times for a periacetabular osteotomy (one for each hip/pelvic side) - both major orthopaedic surgery's. Vaughan Poutawera was my surgeon - he was professional, friendly, caring, incredible attention to detail, talented, and fantastic both times for surgery, pre-op and post-op consults and during my post-op hospital stay. Nursing staff was great, more so the first time than the second. Young patients needs to have the same respect given to them as older patients, even in orthopaedics, or in any department.

I went there for emergence, wait for a long time, however, it was faster than I expected.
