La Mexica

Fabulously vibrant place. Food is delish, nice and authentic Mexican. Staff were great and very friendly.

Was unusually quiet for a Friday night. Service was slow, however, looked like a newbie waiter. Drinks were yummy. Food was generous portions and not bad price. Nice venue.

We were almost deterred from visiting here after reading some pretty average reviews on Trip Advisor, but my partner was determined to eat Mexican food last weekend, and I'm so glad we persevered!

We really, really enjoyed our meals at La Mexica. For starters, they were HUGE (my partner and I are big eaters, so ordered an entrée and a main, not realizing how big the mains were... put it this way, we could have shared a meal, that's how big they were!), they were reasonably-priced, and there were lots of different things to choose from on the menu. The staff couldn't have been nicer (it was pouring with rain when we visited, as we stood outside after our meals waiting for someone to pick us up, the staff called us back in and told us that we could wait inside), and it seems like they have lots of fun events happening... they were advertising weeknight salsa lessons while we were there, which we would love to go back and try! A great experience.

Always hit and miss. both with the food and the service.

Really disappointed with the food and service we received. Contacted the manager and received no response. The was rubbish in our glass of orange juice. Food took over an hour and salsa tasted like tinned tomatoes.
