Eastern Ocean Chinese Restaurant

Missed my roots and home whenever I go here to eat. Loved all their dishes especially the radish cake, siomai, chicken feet, and their fried noodle dish. Super generous amount of meat and seafood with the right amount of seasoning. And the two ladies who served us were very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely go back for more.

As others mentioned, it's pretty run down inside. Could really benefit from a revamp. Can't fault the food or service tho. The banquet meals are huge and delicious, never leave there feeling empty. I would love to see them introduce child prices tho, makes things a bit more affordable for families to go

Little worn down but fine for a normal chinese dinner, chinese bbq duck / pork and some yum cha dishes but those felt defrosted. Overall its worth a visit.

Building is getting VERY run down. Bathrooms are disgusting would hate to see what the kitchen looks like. Its a pitty could be done so well. Tauranga needs a good resturant that serves yum cha.

It is a good Chinese restaurant if you want value for your money. The dishes we ordered were considerably cheap and came out in large servings. However, the management lacked some professionalism.
