General Info
One of New Zealand's best skydiving experiences! With the expert tandem skydiving instructors at SkyDive Taupo, you'll jump out of our pink aircraft from 12,000 or 15,000 feet and into an incredible 45 second freefall over one of the world's most stunning dropzones. During the skydive you are surrounded by snow capped mountains & volcanoes and of course the clean, fresh blue of Lake Taupo! You will slow down from a 200km/h descent to a safe and controlled canopy landing. Skydive Taupo offers a great range of tandem skydiving options including video & photo packages: get a DVD of your own skydiving experience to show to family and friends! SkyDive Taupo will even pick you up in their own limousine to get you smiling early. Check the website for pricing and online booking options or call today.

The staff are really amazing here, from the receptionists to those doing the safety briefing and of course the tandem jumpers. I did the 15,000ft jump which gets you a longer freefall which I definitely recommend as you get more time to get over the initial freaking out and start enjoying it (even though I'm terrified of heights!)

Stunning view down. Staff are great and very helpful, if you havent been up, it is completely safe with harness tied.

Remember that time you fell from 12,000 feet, through the clouds and parachuted down above lake Taupo? No? Then you need to do this. Blew. My. Mind. Four years on and I'm still telling people about it. Go jump out of a plane with someone strapped to your back. It'll change your life.
