Huka Prawn Park

You have to go here at least once, bit expensive but loads of fun. Make sure you bring sunblock as there’s not many shady spots!

My family and I visit here every year. For what it is I believe its value for money a full day of entertainment and gorgeous on a sunny day then get to eat your own catch. Staff are always lovely. Set up is great. Recommend visiting here on your travels

Probably the most underrated activity in Taupo. We stumbled upon it expecting nothing great but it turned out to be the highlight of our trip! Caught some big prawns, the restaurant was nice and the water activity park was awesome as well. Perfect for a lazy summer day.

Absolutely love this place have been several times. Its not cheap but so much fun for the whole family. The kids caught more then i did they had a blast. Theres a walk which is nice and you can also soak your feet or hit a golf ball to win prizes. We have lunch there its yum and you can look out over the river and watch the jet boat. As none of us eat prawns we get ours in ice to take away for other family members.

WOW what a awesome day, this place had something for all the family.
My partner was fishing and when the children were bored i was able to take them off for a walk to the variety of cool experiences within the park.

Awesome day and definately value for your money.

One recommendation would be to take a seat or a mat to sit on while fishing
