Very good cafe food. Homemade cakes and muffins are good quality. Facilities are clean. Parking is great.

Stopped off on the way to Rotorua - such friendly staff and great scones! Peaceful little spot. Will stop off again!

New owners, Alice and Lillian, were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived to attend a pre-booked birthday party. Lovely birthday cake supplied as well. Great service all round. The Cafe offers a great range of meals on the 'Blackboard Menu' as well as hot food cabinets, cakes, sandwiches and scones to name a few. Also have 'Food to Go'. The food is simply delicious and full of flavour. I can personally recommend Eggs Benedict...on freshly toasted focaccia bread with a delicious hollandaise sauce spiced with capers. Fresh scones served with small pots of butter, raspberry jam and whipped cream are a must try! The Cafe is adjacent to a small animal farmlet...hens, rooster, kuni kuni pig, donkey and more. Great visiting for the children. If you have an event coming up just give them a call and tell them what you want...we did and we had a great time!

Staff were nice and food was fresh, enjoyed the animals beside the cafe to look at with the kids. The glade beside the cafe is also beautiful to drive through.
