I always go there on my way to and from Whitianga. Last night went there with my 5 years old daughter. Had an amazing meal. Restaurant was packed, service was great. Friendly and polite staff, food was divine. Also got an ice cream for my daughter without even having to ask for it. Obviously will be back!!

Stopover on our way to Whitianga. Sat in the sun and enjoyed a couple of beers and ordered calamari salads. Did not have to wait long and they tasted superb. Nice big strips of calamari with a lemony crumb coating. Delicious

My husband and I were in Tairua for the weekend and had brunch at Manaia Cafe and Bar. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had the waffles made with caramel bits and it was very delicious. The prices are reasonable and decent potions as well.

Great food, great service and great atmosphere! Returned each day during stay in Tairua - couldn’t get enough! Recommend the steak dinner, and try their pizzas!
