      Stratford has two main supermarkets, Countdown and New World. The New World was there since the 90s, and is much busier—and because of the convenient location it seems to be the choice for locals. If you are from Stratford you WILL run into someone you know. The staff are super friendly and helpful, with a few stalwart staff who have been there since I can remember, which is always comforting. They have a good variety of food. Their vegetarian selections could be a little better, but overall there's plenty to choose from.
