Great place to take children. We loved how well thought out the design of the park is, my son (2yrs) was able to interact and view the animals without the need to be picked up all the time.
It is a little pricey ($30 per adult) which i can understand for the large number of tourists that want to experience the nz wildlife, but we would have loved a nz resident discount! We pass through regularly to visit family in the north and would love to make it a regular spot on the way if it were affordable to do so.

Overall an excellent and enjoyable 2hr experience

Great fun place to take the Family. Get to be up close to the animals and feed most of them. Enjoyable day out. However I wish their cafe was bigger and did meals.
My youngest was little scared of Lions first while they were being feed, but soon was wanting to get a closer look. Only down side was the size of the cafe and limited things on offer, but otherwise very good day out.

We took our two year old daughter last weekend, she really loved all the animals and being able to feed them herself was an added bonus.

This is such a great place! So many different animals that you can see, feed and touch. It is really cool for children to experience it. Walking around the whole place takes quite a while, so it is recommended that you spend at least a day there, so that you get to do everything.
